Commencement Day Information and Schedule
The University of New Haven’s Spring 2019 Commencement will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre, 95 South Turnpike Road, Wallingford, CT.

Morning Ceremony Schedule
College of Arts and Sciences, School of Health Sciences, and Tagliatela College of Engineering
8:15 a.m
Student buses will leave the University of New Haven’s main campus in front of Maxcy Hall for Oakdale Theatre.
8:30 a.m.
Doors to the Theatre will open and no guests will be admitted without a ticket. Seating is not assigned for guests.
9:00 a.m.
All students participating in the morning ceremony will be checked in and must have a student card with them as well as all regalia prior to being lined-up for the processional.
10 a.m.
Procession begins; the doors to the Theatre will close and remain closed until the conclusion of the procession. All guests must be in their seats. Ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately 2 hours.
We ask that all students participating in the Commencement ceremony and their guests remain in their seats throughout the entire ceremony.
Afternoon Ceremony Schedule
Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences and Pompea College of Business
1:45 p.m
Student buses will leave the University of New Haven’s main campus in front of Maxcy Hall for Oakdale Theatre.
2:00 p.m.
Please Note: Afternoon graduates and their guests should NOT arrive prior to this time, as parking lots may not be cleared or open.
2:00 p.m.
Doors to the Theatre will open and no guests will be admitted without a ticket. Seating is not assigned for guests.
2:30 p.m.
All students participating in the afternoon ceremony will be checked in and must have a student card with them as well as all regalia prior to being lined-up for the processional.
3:30 p.m.
Procession begins; the doors to the Theatre will close and remain closed until the conclusion of the procession. All guests must be in their seats. Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. and will last approximately 2 hours.
