Sikorsky President and an Expert on Inclusive Economic Growth to Address University of New Haven’s Class of 2022
Nearly 1,300 graduates will be recognized during two ceremonies on May 15. The Commencement addresses will be given by Paul Lemmo, president of Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company, and Shelley Stewart, III, a senior partner with McKinsey & Company.
Student speakers for the morning ceremony include Sofia Martinez ’22, the president of the Undergraduate Student Government Association and a first-generation student who will pursue a master’s degree at Georgetown University, as well as Enoch Wang ’22 M.S., and a graduate of the University’s master’s degree program in cybersecurity and networks who will join Lockheed Martin as a systems engineer.
Student speakers for the afternoon ceremony include Christopher Raso ’22, a veteran of the U.S. Army Military Police who returned to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in homeland security and emergency management, and Martina Ibrahim ’21, ’22 M.S. a graduate student who earned a master’s degree in national security who is pursing employment with a federal agency.
