Kirsten Jensen, J.D., NR-P, EMS-I

About Kirsten

Kirsten Jensen is an experienced paramedic and accomplished attorney licensed in both Connecticut and New York. After earning her B.S. in biology from Gettysburg College and her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University in 2008, Ms. Jensen practiced commercial and environmental law in the private sector. She also served several terms on the Town of Hamden Inland Wetlands Commission during that time. Prior to entering law, Ms. Jensen was a graduate marine mammal researcher at the prestigious Pinniped Cognition and Sensory Systems Laboratory at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

In 2015, Ms. Jensen focused her attention on giving back to the community by becoming an EMT and subsequently, a paramedic. Ms. Jensen continues to be an active paramedic in Connecticut and also donates time to support a regional EMS nonprofit organization. Currently Ms. Jensen is a Lecturer and Assistant Program Director for the University of New Haven's Paramedicine program.

When she is not sharing her passion for public health and emergency medicine with future practitioners, Ms. Jensen works as a paramedic serving her hometown community. During her off time, Ms. Jensen enjoys time with her family, traveling west whenever possible to recharge in the sun and surf.
