Kevin Myatt retired as senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Yale New Haven Health System in October 2021. Yale-New Haven Hospital is the second largest employer in the greater New Haven area with more than 7,000 employees. Mr. Myatt joined Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale New Haven Health System in 2007 as senior vice president of human resources after serving five years as associate vice chancellor and chief human resources officer at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Myatt's previous positions included serving as vice president of human resources for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has a wealth of human resources experience in both medical and academic settings.

Community Service

Mr. Myatt has served on the boards of directors for a number of organizations, including Aid to Adoption of Special Kids, Black Family and Child Services in Arizona, and Urban Leagues in Arizona and Nebraska. He also served as director for Aegis Family Health Centers in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and as a trustee for the Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility at Oak Summit, Winston-Salem, and was chair of the Winston-Salem State University Board of Trustees.

Education

Mr. Myatt earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Virginia State University and his master's degree in business administration from Arizona State University. The University of New Haven awarded him an honorary Doctor of Business Administration in 2016.

Personal

Mr. Myatt has two daughters and lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wife Gail.
